Digital brand presence: everything people can find about you

Your digital brand presence is more than your website. Learn what it includes, how it is read by people and machines, and how to keep it coherent.

What it includes

Your digital brand presence is the sum of everything public about your company: your website and its structure, the descriptions search engines show, your structured data, the profiles you link to, knowledge bases that mention you and the way AI assistants summarize you.

Why coherence matters more than volume

A large presence that tells several different stories is harder to understand than a small one that tells one story well. When the homepage, the About page, the search snippet and an external profile describe the company differently, readers and machines have to guess which version is true.

How to review it

  • Search for your company name and read the snippets as a stranger would.
  • Compare your homepage headline with your meta description and About page.
  • Check that your social profiles and structured data use the same name and description.
  • Make sure the information your kind of business is expected to publish (pricing, contact details, policies) exists and is easy to find.

What to change first

Fix contradictions before adding anything new. One consistent description, used everywhere, does more for understanding than ten new pages.
